If you don’t hug your plants, you’re doing it wrong.

The featured plant is a Philodendron Melanochrysum and it is what you call a “climber” because in nature, it grows UP and climbs on trees or wherever it can attach itself to. By putting a moss pole on this plant, I’m mimicking that environment and the aerial roots will grow INTO the moss. Because the moss is kept moist and I water it with nutrients, the moss becomes an extension of the plant, and it will support bigger leaves. It’s really fascinating to see how a moss pole transforms a plant ????.
