6-8 weeks is nothing compared to 9 months ????????
I can’t believe that first leaf was even able to grow upside down like that. Go nature!
This propagation setup that has worked wonders for my plant propagations. The aquatic soil is SOLUM and is traditionally used in aquariums, but works as an excellent substrate for growing roots.
Ever since my friend introduced me to the world of variegated Alocasias, there’s no turning back ????. Propagating is fun, but CORM PROPAGATING is a level of satisfaction that’s hard to describe ????. If you have an Alocasia, next time it’s time to repot, dig around gently for these bulb-like stems. There’s many ways to propagate them (water, moss, LECA, stratum), but my go-to has been stratum after seeing insane ramen-like roots grow from them ????.
What are you growing this season? Hopefully right side up ????
