Simple can be best! It's quick and easy to plant deep, then cover directly over the top with a fleece.
This is in early spring when the air is cold, but the bright sunshine can warm soil and any leaves under the fleece.
The multisown radish are two weeks since sown, and three days since transplanted.
It's my no dig garden with compost mulch on top, filmed 27th February by Nicola Smith.
Somerset UK, zone 8.
