Winter watering - it's often good to hold off.
Even when it’s milder and plants grow a little, the air is then humid so transpiration is slight. Plants can be more healthy when leaves are not often wet.
Most in need of watering are any plants in small module cells. While plants in larger volumes of compost and in the ground need watering very little, until light levels and warmth increase after about the middle of February.
