My efforts of making our demo garden a little “dreamier”

My mistake? Oh friends, I will confess that sometimes I behave as a beginner that has no experience to lean on, to remember, or to the ability to recall past disasters...
In my efforts of making our demo garden a little “dreamier” (?????) I installed the flower support netting using “decorative metal stakes”. I had a feeling as I install them that once this garden reached maturity, those stakes would never support the heavy canopy, much less in torrential rain and wind, the very point of flower support netting.

Thought about those stakes for 2 days, lost sleep over them ????. What a waste of brain power!

So, I grabbed @suzie_q11 and Tuc and we swapped them out for my go to 2” x 2” oak tomato stakes. Job redone, right.

The diameter of those metal stakes less than 1”, didn’t have enough meat to hold in place. My 2” square stakes will not let me down and they won’t even show once the flowers are mature!

Flower support netting will hold any flower upright, it’s the stakes that are the weak link.

The road to garden, business, and life success is paved with redos, u-turns, and ditch it!!! Power on people.

P.S. Notice the old sister climbed up on the bed and pounded the stakes. ????
