This neon philodendron was a lovely surprise in the clearance section. More healthy leaves than not, I knew that either way I could propagate if all else failed.

Rule of thumb for me, I don’t completely remove all soil from my plants unless there’s issues with the plant, I’m switching the medium it’s in, or the medium needs a refresh. Most of my rescues will require changing the soil though, from my experience.

Rescues are always so fun and seeing it’s new growth is so rewarding.
