These Niwaki Garden Shears are a bit of specialist tool, meant for shearing boxwood, hedges and shrubs, but not cutting into branches. I love how much control they have (the short-handled version is perfect to me) and the super clean cut they offer (but keep them clean and sharp).

The sheath is sold separately ($19) but worth picking up as well.
If you’re ordering from Niwaki, I highly recommend picking up their Crean Mate ($16.50) at the same time. It’s a little magic block (maybe it’s a relative to a pumice stone) that removes rust and goo from your tools.
