Gardening is a journey and along the way you learn many skills. Observation, building, patience, cooking, baking, and so many other things that aren't obvious at first. Over the years I have come to appreciate how the simple ways of doing things are often times the best. Maybe not always the best possible outcome but the best for the amount of work put in! A tomato can be used many ways but often times I just want to eat a tomato with salt, pepper, and a nice crusty slice of sourdough bread. Hopefully everyone has experienced the beauty of simplicity before. It is definitely my favorite way to cook and eat, fewer ingredients but higher quality and what can be higher quality than the ingredients you grow in your own garden?
