Coconut Shell Wall Mount Planter ????????
I can never have enough of these ????planters????????????
Proceedure:
????Take a coconut ????
????Keep the eyes of the coconut at the bottom side.(The eye side is the top side of the coconut)
????Cut with an axe. Spraying some water on the area makes the process easy)
????Make sure you cut little area from the upper part of the coconut so we can have a bigger planter (as shown)
????Then with a small hammer just hit the cut area gently so the top part of the coconut opens up.
????Use your fingers to open up the ????
????Remove the flesh with a knife. If the coconut is tender, this step will be easy.
????Then with a sharp tool, pierce the 3 eyes for drainage.
????One of the eyes will be slightly softer than the others , making it perfect for piercing.
????Other two may need little effort.
???? Stuff a cloth inside the coconut. And with a drill make a hole at the top part. Wet the area before drilling to avoid a crack.
????Sand the outer shell with emery paper number 80 or 100, so that it leaves a lovely smooth look.
????Add a light weight potting mix with 50% Cocopeat
30% Vermicompost
10% Garden Soil
5% Neem Cake Powder
5% Bone Meal Powder
????Put a plant of your choice. I have used Spider Plant here.
????Hang this planter on a nail and Voila your beautiful Coconut Wall Mount Planter is ready????
