On this wet winter weekend, I planted out a bareroot memorial rose called Rosa Meg, in honour of my lovely mum who passed away last May. I built a trellis for the rose to climb on, and added a clematis which I hope will scramble up the trellis alongside the rose. I also dismantled one of the flower beds in the garden, and put a little seating area in its place. I was quite muddy by the time I finished, but I am happy with what I managed to get done.
